Belvedere Stories is part of Tideline, a Heritage Lottery project delivered by Bexley Council, working with writer Sarah Butler.
Sarah Butler has worked with volunteers, schools and groups to uncover stories, poems and tales about the area.
From the wildlife on the marshes to the Great Flood of 1953; World War 2 to childhood memories; the Gypsy encampment to the industrial area; the area’s heritage as told by local people is captured here at Belvedere Stories.
